Champ is the new sports platform where sportsmen can easily find and book all kinds of sports. Kickboxing today, yoga lessons tomorrow, and a game of football on the field around the corner at the weekend? You can! And all that without a subscription. This way you don't have to be tied to one sport, gym, or club anymore, but you can try new sports without any obligations. Our mission is to get more people to exercise more often!

What does your working day look like?
As a developer, you are part of team Product. To start the day off right, we discuss the day and progress in a daily standup. You have your specialization but Champ has different parts in terms of platforms, think of the app and web applications. Different code bases, different requirements, different solutions but in the end all with the same goal: support the growth of Champ as a business. We love communication with Slack and video calling so no matter your time zone or focus area, we are working as a team together to build the best solutions and improve our platform bit by bit.

What do we expect from you?

As a software engineer, you will make sure that all the features we would like to add are scalable, trackable and usable on multiple platforms. You know how to set up database environments in Azure, scaling up databases if needed. Maintaining our back-office developed in .NET(core). You know how to automate tasks by creating runners and workers and know how to write Unit tests to make sure your code is not breaking something in a completely different unexpected place. As a team leader, you know how the front-end works and how everything is connected and our ability to communicate this with the Product / Business owner. A pre is if you know how to write WordPress REST API and how to connect them on multiple platforms with scalability as the main focus. The other pre is that you are familiar with setting up automated pipelines in Git and improving development processes(CI/CD). Working agile is not more than just normal for you.
